Fantastic product

This toy was a perfect step up from the typical robotics found in toy stores. Fully building the gear boxes and integrating the motor controls added more interest and complexity. The pieces fit together well and the arm fully works! This was independently completed by my 9 year old. I would recommend this for kids that have out grown the more generic kits 😁

Robotic arm

Says for age 10 years old plus no way could my 11 year old could build this after hours of assembly it didn’t work as described it would open and turn one way but would not close or go back the other way even as a adult I don’t understand how does one motor go forwards and revers without a switch or turning the batteries around can you please explain ? There’s no gear box to allow this either now I have a 11 year old in tears as it was a Christmas gift and now in the bin not impressed at all don’t waste your money or time on this

Fun building project

Our 12 year old had fun with this kit, so far he has made one of the boat projects. He really enjoyed putting it together, the only thing he asked for help with was folding the boat portion as the instructions weren't very intuitive. However I'm sure he would have figured it out himself.

Fun but Problematic

I got this for my son for his birthday and it was really cool but the parts break very easily such as the hydraulic crylinders. most of the arm worked but i dont think this is meant for 10 year olds and i think the motor skills requierd for this is at least of a 12 year old. The Levers were also werid to use as some were very stiff and some were easy to push. I also have to order a new part beacuse one of the hydraulic cylinder nozels broke when trying to fit the tube to it.

Hydraulic robot arm

This was a present bought for my 10 year old grandson.
Terrific choice in that although I found it was generally beyond his technical ability and fine motor skills, he was totally engrossed as we assembled it together and totally mesmerized by the arm's ability to be operated by levers remote from the arm.
The 'box' suggests that this challenge is for those 10+ years old. It would be a very remarkable 10 year old who could put this together unaided. But then, working on this project together was probably closer to the rationale for buying it in the first place.
